Recommendations on fabric: natural or mixed medium stretch knit fabric 

You will also need: one button 

If the pattern has a double line around it, the seam allowances are included.
Note: By default, seam allowances are NOT included (single line) and will need to be added when laying out and cutting details. 

Seam allowance: hem, hem of sleeve and along cross edge of upper front part – 1.5 cm, all other seams - 0.8 cm. 

Attention! First of all please print all the paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric you plan to use (usually from 90 to 150 cm) to see how much fabric you will need. Don't forget to take into account pieces to be duplicated or cut on a fold. 

Darts: The fold of the dart is always pressed toward the center of your garment, or down toward the hem. 

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches, they must match up with corresponding pieces. 

CUTTING: 

(On the pattern pieces, “beam” means straight of grain. Lay out your pieces accordingly. Some pieces will be cut on the fold. This is noted on the pattern piece. Mark all notches and other design features such as darts, pleats etc. from the pattern onto your fabric.) 

Fabric:
1. Back – cut 2
2. Center front – cut 1
3. Upper side front – cut 2 4. Lower front — cut 1
5. Sleeve – cut 2 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1. Serge edges of upper side fronts, starting from neckline and finishing at 2-3 cm below the notch. Press the seam inwards and topstitch.
2. Serge center back edges separately. Sew back seam together from notch to hem. Press seam apart and opening for button closure. Topstitch seam allowance along opening. 

3. Sew darts on center front. Serge the armhole from the notch up to neckline. 

4. Serge top edge of center front. Make a gathering stitch along neckline edge of upper side fronts and gather. Place upper side fronts on top of center front, overlapping as shown in the picture. Baste together, matching notches.
5. Sew lower front to upper front section. Serge and press downwards. 

5. Sew shoulder seams. Serge and press the seam towards back.
6. Sew sleeve into open armhole, matching notches. Serge and press seams.
7. Sew side seams together with the edge of sleeve. Serge seam allowances and press toward back.
8. Cut a bias tape of 4 cm wide, and as long as the neckline + 5 cm. Fold the bias tape in half, wrong sides together, and press. Sew the bias tape onto wrong side of the neckline. Turn onto right side and topstitch, slightly stretching the fold of the bias tape. Fold tape under at center back.
9. Serge bottom edge of garment, and sleeve. Turn under, press, and topstitch.
10. Make a loop for button and sew on left side. Sew the button on the right side.
