LET OP! ALS EERSTE,PRINT DE PAPIEREN PATROONDELEN UIT EN LEG DEZE OP DE STOF (de stofbreedte tussen 90 cm en 150 cm)OM TE BEPALEN HOEVEEL STOF JE NODIG HEBT (vergeet dubbele en symmetrische delen niet).

Recommendations on fabric: natural or mixed thin costume fabric 

You will also need: fusing; lining; 3 buttons; shoulder pads, sleeve heads. 

If the pattern has double contour the seam allowances are included.
If the pattern has single contour, the seam allowances are NOT included and need to be added when laying out and cutting details. 

SEAM ALLOWANCE: all seams - 1 cm, on hem of the garment and hem of sleeve - 3.5 cm. 

Attention! First of all please print all the paper patterns and lay them out at the width of fabric you plan to use (usually from 90 to 150 cm) to see how much fabric you will need. Don't forget to count pair parts and symmetrical parts. 

When sewing the garment, pay attention to notches, they must coincide. 

CUTTING: 

Fabric: 

1. Central back part – 2 details 2. Side back part – 2 details
3. Right front part – 1 detail
4. Left front part – 1 detail 

5. Collar - 4 details
6. Placket - 1 detail
7. Right buttonstand – 1 detail
8. Left buttonstand – 1 detail
9. Back neckline facing – 1 detail 10. Upper sleeve part – 2 details 11. Lower sleeve part - 2 details 

Lining: 

1. Right front part – 1 detail
2. Left front part – 1 detail
3. Central back part – 2 details 4. Side back part – 2 details
5. Upper sleeve part – 2 details 6. Lower sleeve part - 2 details 

Lining details of central back parts and left / right front parts are cut except for the width of neckline facing and buttonstands correspondingly. 

Fusing: placket, left and right buttonstands, back part neckline facing, outer collar, hem of the jacket and hem of sleeve. 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1. Apply fusing to details . 

2. Sew darts on back part and press them towards center. Sew and press apart princess seams 

on back part. Sew and press apart center seam on back part. 

3. Sew the dart and slash away the depth on left front part. Press apart the bust dart. Sew and 

press pleats on right front part according to markers (depths are directed downwards). Press the 

placket in half lengthwise wrong sides together and stitch outer side to right front part. 

4. Sew and press apart shoulder and side edges of the jacket. 

5. Sew center seams of collars, press seam allowances apart. Fold collars right sides together 

and overstitch ends and outer edge. Cut seam allowances in corners, slash on rounded parts. 

Turn collar out, straighten and press. Sew the collar into the neckline. 

6. Sew and press apart shoulder edges of back part neckline facing and buttonstand. Stitch right 

buttonstand to inner side of the placket. Fold buttonstands and the facing with front part right 

sides together and overstitch left buttonstand, the neckline and lower corner, leaving 1.5 cm to the 

edge of buttonstand. Slash seam allowances away in corners, slash on rounded parts. Turn 

bands right side out, straighten seams. 

7. Sew and press apart elbow sleeve seam. Press hem of sleeve. Sew and press apart front 

sleeve seam. 

8. Sew sleeves into armholes according to notches, easing in on rounded part. Sew in shoulder 

pads and sleeve heads. 

9. Sew seams on lining details and sew in sleeves, leaving a slit in front right seam of sleeve. 

Stitch lining to inner edges of buttonstands and to facings. Stitch lining to hem of the garment and 

to hem of sleeve. Turn the jacket out through the slit in sleeve. Sew the slit in sleeve. 

10. Serge buttonholes on the placket, sew buttons on left front part. Make a buttonhole on left 

front part, sew inner button on.
