fabric (evening variant); lining; fusing; 7 buttons.
NB!
Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen
width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget
about double and symmetric details).
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Middle front part

Lining:

Fusing:
1. Yoke front band – 2 pieces

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Stitch front relieves excluding pocket entrances.
2. Stitch sacking to pocket entrances wrong side as marked.
Fold sacking front ward and stitch together.
3. Stitch
back darts and relieves.
4. Stitch
yokes to front parts. Stitch shoulder seams.
5. Stitch
front relieves into lining details. Stitch yokes to front parts. Stitch back
darts and relieves. Stitch lining front parts/yokes to one-piece front bands.
Stitch back neckline facing to back lining.
6. Stitch shoulder seams.
7. Lay the lining with back neckline facing on the
waistcoat right sides together and overstitch the neckline neatly. Stitch the lining
to armhole edges. Cut seam allowance close to the stitch. Turn the waistcoat
right side out. Topstitch the lining on seam allowances close to the seam.
8. Stitch side seams of fabric/lining waistcoat with
the same stitch.
9. Turn the waistcoat in. Sew front bands to hem
allowance. Pin pleats of 2 cm depth above lining side seams. Fold the lining
under and sew it to waistcoat hem allowance rounding it upward to one-piece
front bands. Remove pins and press extra facing downward.
10. Make buttonholes into right front edging and sew
buttons to left one.
