YOU NEED: linen/cotton/silk/viscose of 150 cm width; fusing; 7 buttons.

 

CUTTING:

Fabric:

1. Front part cut out with inner collar – 2 pieces

2. Back part – 2 pieces

3. Front band cut out with outer collar – 2 pieces

4. Front sleeve – 2 pieces

5. Back sleeve – 2 pieces

 

Fusing: front bands cut out with outer collar.

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

1. Apply the fusing to wrong side of front bands cut out with outer collar.

 

2. Stitch front/back darts, stitch middle back seam.

 

3. Stitch shoulder seams, slash into corners at collar’s beginning.

 

4. Lay front parts right sides together and stitch collar edge.

 

5. Stitch the collar into the neckline between corners.

 

6. Stitch collar’s middle edge at front band. Neaten front bands’ inner edges up to shoulder edges. Overstitch front part with front bands.

 

7. Slash front band’s allowance into corner up to seam line. Turn the collar right side out, fold front bands into wrong side. Press edges. Fold outer collar’s open edge and topstitch along the seam joining inner collar. Fix front bands on shoulder seams.

 

8. Stitch side seams.

 

9. Stitch sleeve front/outside seams.

 

10. Stitch sleeves into armholes easing along sleeve caps.

 

11. Turn blouse/sleeve hems into wrong side and topstitch along edges.

 

12. Make buttonholes into right front edging, sew buttons on the left one.
