5175 KNITTED BLOUSE

YOU NEED: hosiery of 150 cm width; fusing; 5 buttons.

CUTTING:

Fabric:

1. Front part cut out with front band – 2 pieces

2. Back part – 1 folded piece

3. Sleeve – 2 pieces

4. Collar – 2 folded pieces

5. Cuff – 2 folded pieces

Fusing: one-piece front band, outer collar, cuffs.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Ally the fusing to wrong side of one-piece front band, outer collar, cuffs.

2. Stitch shoulder/side seams up to the mark, neaten them and press apart.

3. Lay collars right sides together and overstitch them along outer edge. Turn the collar right side out and press it.

4. Neaten front band’s outer edge, fold it into right side and overstitch along neckline between front edging and collar mark. Slash neckline/front bands’ seam near the mark at 1 mm before the stitch. Fold front bands into wrong side and press it.

5. Lay inner collar on the blouse right sides together, stitch the collar in with 1 cm seams. Fold outer collar’s lower edge under and topstitch along joining seam.

6. Stitch sleeve seams and neaten them. Stitch sleeves into armholes.

7. Fold cuffs along the center wrong side out and overstitch along edges. Turn cuffs right side out and press them.

8. Fold cuff’s open edge 1 cm under, insert sleeve hem between cuffs and topstitch.

9. Neaten hem allowance, fold it into wrong side and topstitch. Topstitch also side slits.

10. Make buttonholes into right font edging, sew buttons on the left one.
