YOU NEED: jersey or knitted velvet; fusing; elastic braid of 3 cm width.

 

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.

 

SEAM ALLOWANCE: 1 cm for all seams.

 

ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and symmetric details).

 

WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE COINCIDING!

 

CUTTING:

 

Fabric:

1. Front part – 2 pieces

2. Back part – 2 pieces

3. Front cuff – 2 pieces

4. Back cuff – 2 pieces

5. Waistband – 1 piece

6. Sacking – 2 pieces

7. Side part – 2 pieces

 

ADVICE: to prevent seam from stiffing, sew details with special (zig zag) stitch.

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

1. Apply the fusing to wrong side of pocket entrance at front part. Stitch sacking to front part and turn it into wrong side. Topstitch pocket entrance. Lay front part on side one along coinciding line, then stitch sackings together.

 

2. Stitch side seams. Stitch front/back middle seams. Stitch inside leg seams. Stitch together cuffs of front/back parts along inside leg seam to slit marks. Fold cuffs along the center and overstitch edges to control marks. Slash seam allowance. Stitch cuffs to trouser hems.

 

3. Stitch the waistband forming a ring, leaving a hole to elastic braid. Stitch the waistband to trousers. Pull elastic braid into waistband, then fix it.

 

4. Press ready garment.
