ZIP-UP LEATHER JACKET

 

MATERIAL: artificial and natural leather, suede, suit nature or combine fabric.

 

YOU NEED: clue interfacing; metal separable zipper.

 

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.

 

SEAM ALLOWANCE: 1 cm for all seams.

 

ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and symmetric details).

 

WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE COINCIDING!

Clue interfacing:  front band.

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

1. Strengthen the front band, preferably to strengthen upper back part, lower sleeve, lower front/back parts.

 

2. Sew lining seams.

 

3. Sew lining front parts to front bands.

 

4. Sew darts into front part.

 

5. Sew relieves into front part.

 

6. Sew the zipper to front parts.

 

7. Sew relieves into back part.

 

8. Sew shoulder seams.

 

9. Sew side seams.

 

10. Overstitch front part edges with font bands. Overstitch back neckline with facing.

 

11.  Sew sleeve seams.

 

12. Sew sleeves into, fitting along caps.

 

13. Sew the lining to jacket hem allowance. Sew sleeve lining to fabric sleeve hem. Fix it by hand under the armhole and along the jacket hem. Turn the lining and the jacket right side out. Sew fabrication hole in the sleeve.

 

14. Topstitch garment and sleeve hems along the edges.
