YOU NEED: taffeta or brocade; 1 zipper; lining.

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.

SEAM ALLOWANCE: 1 cm for all seams.

ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and symmetric pieces).

WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE MATCHING!

CUTTING:

Fabric:

1. Centre back – 2 pieces

2. Side back – 2 pieces

3. Side front – 2 pieces

4. Centre front – 1 piece

Lining:

1. Centre back – 2 pieces

2. Side back – 2 pieces

3. Side front – 2 pieces

4. Centre front – 1 piece

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Stitch front/back curved edges and neaten the seams. Press the front seams the front centre. Press the back seams backwards.

2. Stitch and neaten side/shoulder seams. Press the shoulder/side seams backwards.

3. Stitch lining curved/shoulder/side seams. Press the shoulder/side seams backwards.

4. Overstitch the neck edges, armholes and hem with the lining.

5. Neaten the back centre edges. Stitch the centre back seam up to the closure notch. Press this seam open pressing the closure slit. With its teeth hidden, sew zipper in.
