SEAM ALLOWANCES: 1 cm for all seams.

 

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.

 

ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and symmetric pieces).

 

WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE MATCHING!

 

CUTTING:

FABRIC:

1. Sleeve - 2 pieces

2. Middle front – 1 piece

3. Lower front - 1 piece

4. Upper front - 1 piece

5. Lower back - 1 piece

6. Middle back – 1 piece

7. Upper back – 1 piece

 

Instructions:

 

1. Stitch the middle front piece to the lower front; neaten the seam; press the seam allowances upwards.

 

2. Make pleats at the upper front lower edge; stitch the upper front piece to the middle front. Neaten the seam; press the seam allowances upwards.

 

3. Stitch the middle back piece to the lower back; neaten the seam; press the seam allowances upwards.

 

4. Make pleats at the upper back lower edge; stitch the upper back piece to the middle back. Neaten the seam; press the seam allowances upwards.

 

5. Stitch the garment side edges; neaten the seams; press the seam allowances backwards.

 

6. Neaten the sleeve lower edge. Fold the seam allowances under and topstitch. Topstitch the elastic to the sleeve. Stitch the sleeve to the armholes according to the notches; neaten the seam; topstitch the seam allowances. 

 

7. Neaten the neckline edge and the sleeve upper edge. Fold the seam allowances under and topstitch.

 

8. Cut elastic according to you size; topstitch the elastic around the neckline and to the middle front/back and the lower front/back-joining seam. 

 

9. Neaten the garment hem; press it under and stitch in place.
