YOU NEED: silk/viscose;
zipper; fusing; sheer fusing.
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM
ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM
ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.
SEAM ALLOWANCE:
1 cm for all seams, 3 cm for garment hem.
ATTENTION! Before sewing,
print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to
150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and
symmetric details).
WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE
COINCIDING!
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Center back part – 2 pieces
2. Side back part – 2 pieces
3. Back skirt – 2 pieces
4. Side front part – 2 pieces
5. Center front part – 1 piece
6. Front skirt
– 1 piece
7. Sacking – 4
pieces
8. Front facing – 1 piece
9. Back facing
– 2 pieces
Fusing: front/back facing.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Apply the fusing to wring side of
front/back parts.
2. Stitch front relieves.
Neaten seams and press them toward front center.
3. Stitch back relieves. Neaten seams and press them
toward back center.
4. Mark darts into front/back skirts. Make notches
into darts into front skirt. Stitch sackings to the skirt right sides together.
Neaten the seam and turn sackings into wrong side. Press allowances into
lining. Stitch sackings together. Neaten sackings. Fix
pocket’s bending with sheer fusing. Press the pocket.
5. Stitch front skirt to front part. Neaten joining
seam and press it frontwards.
6. Stitch back skirt to front part. Neaten joining
seam and press it backwards.
7. Neaten middle back edge. Stitch middle back edge
between hem and closure notch. Press middle back seam apart, press clit’s
edges. Stitch the zipper in.
8. Stitch dress’s side/shoulder edges. Neaten
side/shoulder seams. Press seams backwards.
9. Stitch shoulder/side edges of front/back facings,
press seams apart. Neaten facings’ outer edges. Lay facings on the garment and
overstitch front/back necklines. Overstitch armholes as follows: 1. overstitch
armholes’ upper part, 2. overstitch armholes’ lower part. Topstitch facing
allowance at 0.2 cm from the seam. Fold the facing into wrong side and press
it. Fix facing’s middle edge to closure’s allowance.
10. Neaten dress’s hem, fold
it under and topstitch.
