YOU NEED: middle/high stretchable jersey (natural or mixed) and
decorative braid (for a coulisse).
IF THE PATTERNS
HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,
IF THE PATTERNS
HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.
SEAM ALLOWANCES: 1.5 cm for the hem/sleeve hems, 1 cm
for other seams.
ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lays them out
according to the linen width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material
you need (do not forget about double and symmetric details).
WHEN SEWING, BE
CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE COINCIDING!
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Back part – 1 piece
2. Front part – 1 piece
3. Sleeve – 2 pieces
4. Placket – 1 piece
Our advice: stitch jersey details with
special elastic/zig-zag stitches. If you use an overlock, cut seam allowances
till 0.6-0.8 cm width. Topstitch hem allowances with double needle to save
elasticity.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Stitch the sleeve to front part. Neaten the seam
and press it.
2. Stitch the sleeve to back part. Neaten the seam and
press it.
3. Stitch sleeve edge and side edge with one seam.
Neaten seams and press them.
4. Neaten the hem/sleeve hems/neckline edge. Press
them into wrong side and topstitch.
5. Neaten plackets all edges. Fold placket’s upper edge
under and topstitch it. Mark placket’s place on front part’s wrong side. Stitch
the placket to front part. Make a stitch along placket’s center; stop stitching
at 1.5 cm before placket’s lower seam. Pull the coulisse into this hole and
gather it.
