YOU NEED: natural/mixed fabric, concealed zip.

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.

SEAM ALLOWANCE: 1 cm for all seams, 2 cm for the hem.

ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and symmetric details).

WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE COINCIDING!

CUTTING:

Fabric:

1. Back part – 2 pieces

2. Front part – 1 piece

3. Back facing – 2 pieces

4. Front facing – 1 piece

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Neaten middle back edges. Stitch middle back seam between the mark and the hem. Press the seam apart pressing closure slit.

2. Lay the zipper under slit allowance with zipper’s teeth invisible, then stitch.

3. Make loose stitches along front neckline. Pull the neckline as necessary.

4. Stitch dress side/shoulder seams. Press shoulder/side seams backward.

5. Stitch shoulder/side edges of front/back facings, press seams apart. Neaten facing’s outer edge. Lay facings on the garment right sides together, then overstitch front/back necklines. Overstitch first armhole’s upper part, then armhole’s lower part. Topstitch the allowance on the facing at 0.2 cm from the seam. Fold the facing into wrong side and press it. Stitch facing’s middle edge to closure allowance.

6. Press the hem into wrong side, fold it under and topstitch.

7. Cut decorative waistband of necessary length and of 9 cm width. Fold the waistband along the center wrong side out and overstitch on long and one short edges. Turn the waistband right side out and press it. Fold raw allowances in and topstitch the waistband at 0.1 cm from the edge. Fix the waistband on the dress, below the bust.

Our advise: you can set the waistband on waist or on hip line.
