YOU NEED: sheer natural/mixed fabric (chiffon).

 

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.

 

SEAM ALLOWANCES: 1 cm for all seams, 0 cm for dress/sleeve hems.

 

ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and symmetric details).

 

WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE COINCIDING!

 

CUTTING:

Fabric:

1. Back part – 2 pieces

2. Front part – 4 pieces

3. Lower back part – 1 piece

4. Lower front part – 2 pieces

5. Sleeve – 2 pieces

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

1. Stitch darts into front/back parts. Press darts toward centers.

 

2. Stitch side edges at lower parts. Press seams backward and neaten them.

 

3. Neaten lower front parts’ middle edges, press them into wrong side and topstitch.

 

4. Stitch outer blouse’s shoulder/side edges. Stitch inner blouse’s shoulder/side edges. Press seams apart and neaten them.

 

5. Lay outer blouse on inner one right sides together, insert lower part along lower edge and overstitch front/back necklines, ties, lower edges. Lower part must lie on the blouse. Slash rounding at seams, turn the blouse right side out though the armhole, then press.

 

6. Stitch sleeve edge and neaten it. Press sleeve seam backward.

 

7. Stitch sleeves in easing them along sleeve caps. Neaten seams.

 

8. Neaten blouse/sleeve hems with roll stitches.
