YOU NEED: soft fabric suitable for coats/bonded fabric; separating zip; piping.
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.
ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and symmetric details).
WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE COINCIDING!
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Back part – 2 pieces
2. Front part – 2 pieces
3. Sleeve – 2 pieces
4. Cuff – 2 pieces
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Stitch darts with their seams right side out into front/back parts. Cut dart depths to 0.7 cm.
2. Stitch back middle edge with its seam into wrong side. Stitch shoulder/side edges with their seams into wrong side. Cut seams to 0.7 cm.
3. Stitch sleeve edges with their seams into wrong side. Cut allowances to 0.7 cm. Stitch cuffs as a ring with their seams into wrong side. Cut seam allowances to 0.7 cm. Stitch cuffs to sleeves with seams into wrong side. Leave cuff upper edge raw.
4. Stitch sleeves into armholes easing along sleeve caps with sleeves’ seams into right side. Cut seam allowances to 0.7 cm.
5. Stitch the zipper. Oversew zipper braid (with seam allowances) with the piping.
6. Leave coat’s hem raw.
