5751 BLOUSE WITH BACK CLOSURE


YOU NEED: soft sheer fabric; piping; bride; 1 button.


IF THE PATTERNS HAVE DOUBLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS PROVIDED,

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE SINGLE CONTOUR, THE SEAM ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.


SEAM ALLOWANCES: 2 cm for the hem, 0 cm for neckline edge, 1 cm for other seams.


ATTENTION! Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and symmetric details).


WHEN SEWING, BE CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE COINCIDING!



CUTTING:

Fabric:

1. Back part – 2 pieces

2. Front part – 1 piece

3. Front yoke – 1 piece

4. Back yoke – 2 pieces

5. Sleeve – 2 pieces


INSTRUCTIONS:


1. Stitch waist front/back darts. Press darts toward center.


2. Stitch shoulder darts into back yoke. Press darts toward back middle seam.


3. Make pleats into front neckline as marked. Make fixing stitch at 0.5 cm from neckline edge.


4. Stitch shoulder edges into front/back yokes. Neaten the seam and press it backward.


5. Stitch sleeves to back/front parts along armhole lines. Neaten seams and press them toward sleeves. Make a seam with loose stitches along sleeve upper edge and gather fabric a little.


6. Stitch yokes to front/back parts and to sleeves. Neaten seams and press them upward.


7. Mark bride line on sleeves. Lay the sleeve wrong side up, stretch the bride and topstitch it with zig zags leaving 1 cm ends.


8. Stitch sleeve/side edges with one stitch. Neaten seams and press them backward.


9. Stitch back middle edge between closure mark and the hem. Press seams apart and neaten them.


10. Overstitch the neckline with the piping firming a closure loop on back side. Sew a button to another side of closure.


11. Process sleeve hems. Neaten blouse hem. Fold it under and topstitch.
