SEAM ALLOWANCE: 1 cm for all seams, 3 cm for garment/sleeve
hems/pocket entrance/hood’s outer edge.
NB!
Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen
width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget
about double and symmetric details).

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Stitch
hood sides to hood center and neaten seams. Neaten hood loops. Fold hood’s
outer allowance into wrong side, fold it under and topstitch on the hood.
2. Neaten the pocket
along the contour and press it according to the pattern. Fold pocket entrance’s
allowance into wrong side and topstitch it at 2.5 cm from the edge. Lay the
pocket on front part and topstitch.
3. Make a slit into front part between zipper’s
marking stopping 1 cm before hem mark. Make diagonal slit at mark’s ends.
Neaten long edges and press into wrong side. Lay the zipper under slit edges
and stitch it. Topstitch zipper’s allowances at 05 cm distance.
4. Stitch sleeve’s upper edge and neaten it. Stitch
sleeves into armholes according to notches. Stitch side seams and sleeves’
lower seams with one stitch. Neaten seams and press them backwards.
5. Stitch the hood into the neckline. Neaten
allowances.
6. Press
sleeve hem under. Fold sleeve allowance into wrong side and press first at 1 cm
and then at 2 cm. Topstitch pressed allowance on the sleeve.
7. Press garment’s
hem first at 1 cm and then at 2 cm. Fold it into wrong side and topstitch. Pull
the cord into hood’s loops and set tabs.
