braid.

ALLOWANCE IS NOT PROVIDED.
SEAM ALLOWANCE:
1 cm for all seams.
NB! Before sewing,
print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen width (from 90 to
150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget about double and
symmetric details).

CAREFUL WITH NOTCHES – THEY MUST BE COINCIDING!
CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Front part – 1 piece
2. Back part – 2 pieces
3. Front skirt – 1 piece
4. Front underskirt – 1 piece
5. Back skirt – 2 pieces
6. Back underskirt – 2 pieces
7. Pocket – 2 pieces
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Neaten the pocket along
the contour, fold into wrong side and stitch at 1.5 cm from the bending. Pull
the elastic braid in and gather pocket’s upper edge. Fix braid’s ends. Press
pocket’s lower/side edges into wrong side.
2. Topstitch pockets on
front skirt.
3. Stitch side edges of
skirt and underskirt, neaten them and press.
4. Neaten hems of skirt and
underskirt. Fold hems under and
topstitch.
5. Stitch side/shoulder
edges of the dress, neaten seams and press then backwards.
6. Lay the skirt on the
underskirt right sides together, adjust upper edges and fix it. Make a loose
stitch along upper edge at 0.5 cm from the edge. Pull upper edges according to
front/back part’s lower edges.
7. Neaten middle back edge
and stitch it up to closure’s notch. Press middle back seam apart pressing
closure slit. Stitch the zipper in.
8. Trim the neckline and
armholes with the piping. Press the neckline and armholes.
9. Neaten skirts’ hems, fold
them under and topstitch. Press the hems.
