SEAM ALLOWANCE: 1 cm for all seams, 2 cm for the hem and the placket,
0.5 cm for sleeve frill’s/lower frill’s edges.
NB!
Before sewing, print paper patterns and lay them out according to the linen
width (from 90 to 150 cm) to find out how much material you need (do not forget
about double and symmetric details).

CUTTING:
Fabric:
1. Center front
part – 2 pieces
2. Center back
part – 2 pieces
3. Lower frill - 2
pieces
4. Sleeve
frill – 2 pieces

front part – 2 pieces

back part – 2 pieces
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Stitch side front/back parts to center front/back parts. Neaten seams and press
them toward front/back centers.
2.
Stitch middle back seam, neaten it and press.
3.
Stitch side/shoulder edges and neaten them. Press side/shoulder seams
backwards.
4.
Neaten sleeve frill’s shaped edge, topstitch it on wrong side and press. Make
loose stitch along sleeve frill’s straight edge, make gathering. Stitch sleeve
frills into armholes from the seam joining side back part to center front part.
5.
Neaten armholes. Fold armholes’ free edges into wrong sides and topstitch.
6. Cut a
stripe at 45 degrees to beam/shoot threads.
7. Press
placket’s edge into wrong side. Lay the placket on front part right sides
together and overstitch.
8.
Stitch a stripe on the neckline right sides together overlapping the placket 1
cm. Fold the stripe and placket into wrong side slashing upper rounded corners.
Press the placket and the neckline. Fold stripe’s edge under and topstitch up
to the placket at 1 cm before bending. Topstitch placket’s wrong side at
0.1-0.2 cm from pressed bending.
9. Stitch frill’s seam. Neaten frill’s lower edge, fold it under and topstitch to wrong side. Make loose stitch along frill’s upper edge. Make gathering. Stitch the fill to the blouse. Neaten joining seam.
10. Make
buttonholes into right front edging, sew buttons on left one.
